The Crafty Lady will be teaching classes at both venues. Classes will be tips and tricks to learn new cast-ons, cast-offs, increases and decreases. She also has three new patterns - two in print, one in production as we post this.
We have new yarns on order, hopefully some will be at these shows and in the store.
I was startled to realise we are more than halfway to Christmas. Now is the time to do some planning and prepping for seasonal gifts.
Over the past couple of weeks, I have heard several people comment "It is too hot to knit/crochet". In my opinion this is a perfect time to work on some of those smaller projects you are planning. Smaller projects are cooler to work on and much more portable. Socks, hats, mittens are all easily carried, to pick up and put down.
This week's 75% off yarn is a great motivator!
When I went looking for projects worked our 75% off sale yarn - I was really surprised! Every pattern was a sweater, hat, cowl, socks, scarf or touque! I am hoping the pictures below will allow you to see the stitch definition - and the versatility of this yarn!
